problem saved cart empty

Good morning

I have the problem on a site:

the saved cart of registered users on the site after a few days, by reconnecting, is empty.

Could there be some reason for some opc setting / problem?

More generally, could it be due to some incorrect server configuration?

work with the latest versions of Virtuemart(VirtueMart 3.8.4 10335) and Onepage ( 2.0.400.170720) and Joomla 3.9.19.22

hello, there is an option in OPC at Registration Tab very bottom - "do not use virtuemrart cart reload" - you probably have this enabled.

please do not use our deprecated opc load cart plugin (plg_system_opccart) as we are going to drop it from opc, but rather please use mod_cartsave if you need cart save/share/load/download functionality.

automatic operations for cart load are not generally considered a good idea especially if the system (like core vm) stores extra datas into the cart object (coupons + address or custom fields) and in mean time you upgrade virtuemart, customers may come into a few issues when the cart load is being triggered.
