Email order-confirm AFTER order (Status PENDING) - Possible?

Hello,
Is there an option (or plug) to send an "order confirmation" after checkout, altought status is PENDING and not CONFIRMED - i.e. send only order details and not INVOICE?

we tried to make VM to send emails in pending state but among every other versino of VM there was a contra code added to prevent this.

generally you can try to enable OPC's After Checkout tab:
Email Fix VM2
Email fix VM3
Email fix per Payemnt

all of these try to update the order status once again to try to send the email.

there is another email related config:
- Vendor Emails -> you can enter multiple emails of your employees who should receive the order emails

and in the very latest OPC we also added "shopper group emails" -> if you set an email within "shopper group description" and enable "Shopper group order notify email" within OPC's shopper group config, this feature will send additional order email -> this feature is mainly intended for B2B where the purchaser has lot's of branches that are purchasing the products via separate joomla accounts and they have a central branch which needs to be notified per the order. in this setup each customer normally has it's own prices per shoppegroup.
