hello, please see if this issue still occurs on our latest 371 (or soon released 372) version.

we already fixed a similar issue within the last month so you may want to try out latest verion.

if you are using ZT templates, and opc 371+ gives you a warning about any incompatible 3rd party plugin running (this causes shipping calculation malfunction) just make sure you re-order the incompatible plugin to be the very last within joomla plugins.

hello, i just tested shipping calculation on vm2.6.x and j2.5 and i cannot see a problem in the latest 2.0.372 version.

i remember fixing a few problems related to "payment per shipping" issue that could had caused the shipping display calculation problem but this had been fixed in later versions.

let me know at email if you still get this issue on the latest 372 version.

this is how to update:
- take a backup if needed
- i suggest to backup opc config file from /components/com_onepage/config (all files)
- update to version 372
- click save -> this will move the config from the file to the database (as we reached too many config options to store them in a file and file config is not compatible with zend opcode caching)
- see if your config is same as before (especially checkbox products + shopper field configs at the new section)
- test the checkout

if there is an issue with the config you may upload your previous config to /components/com_onepage/config without clicking save and report any issues to us.

best regards, stan

Hello,

similar problem here.

OPC 3.0.372 (also before on 2.0.368)

Using the Reviver theme (but also tested other themes)

Joomla 3.8/VM3.2.15

Problem description:

The first part of the checkout, the basket, shows 'Shipping cost: ' and it is blank. And it remains blank even when you change shipping methods further down.
The total products cost is shown without any shipping costs.

BUT: if you enter a coupon code, the total products cost gets recalculated to include shipping cost!

hello, please let me know via email so i can swiftly help you with this type of issues.

the latest OPC version disables "fetch" type of ajax call + updates a few other script-related isssues that could had lead issues with the shipping calculation / total.

possible solutions are :
- if OPC at generic tab on your version still shows "do not use fetch", then check this to disable the new type of ajax
- you may want to disable "payment refresh" upon ajax at payment tab which caused a few problems on around 370 OPC versions
- if you also updated your php version at the same time, make sure to use our "fatal catcher" plugin to find out any hidden issues on the site
- generally we strongly suggest to disable all payment+shipping+calculation+coupon vm plugins which are enabled in joomla but not used by virtuemart (upon VM upgrades, new plugins may become automatically enabled in joomla even when they are not configured)

i believe all of this is already adjusted for the latest virtuemart and for general compatiblity at our latest OPC release.
