if the customer places an order and goes to the bank payment page (visa/mastercard), but the payment does not end successfully, he will not be able try to pay the order again - the basket will be empty. How to be?

hello, this depends on the payment method which probably calls a function to clear the cart before it redirects to the payment provider. please investigate the clearing cart there. opc itself clears cart only for "confirmed orders".
