Hi,

This problem (gift product remain in cart), still alive.

I drop a products into the basket above a (gift)value limit, the gift selector appear, I changed the product number, below a value limit, a gift selector disappears.
This is ok, but when I send order, the gift stays in this order.

i have to check this within this feature as it's not yet supported, i will try to remove the gift products from the cart when the total is not met.

in mean time i wrote a new plugin that adds the bonus product above X order subtotal automatically to the cart. (i.e. if subtotal incl tax is higher then X a free product configured will be added automaticlly + when the subtotal is lower it will be removed automatically ) -> this plugin is called "opc_bonus" system plugin and it's finished now and i will release this in 383 version. the plugin does not support calculation of subtotal including attributes (yet) due to performance issues.

gift plugin works well as expected. Only this error message is very annoying:

vmError: prepareCartData $productdata[virtuemart_product_id] was empty

Does anybody knows how to get rid of it?

hello, are you logged in as administrator ?
is this message shown to regular users when they are logged in, or for anonymous users ?

it is possible that you are running a version of VM which produces this error as a bug and it might had been removed in later VM versions.

There are two gift products to choose from.
Once selected, the product will be added to the basket.
That's good!

However, once the order has been sent, the gift of your choice is not included in the confirmation emaill and is not visible in the admin order detail page.

What could be the problem?

hello, we've got some plugins for this:
- opc coupon
- opc bonus

both of these plugins allow to "unset" the product which was added as a result of "an action" (coupon usages + subtotal threashold + else). unsetting gift product defined in opc backend config - i'd need to see on if this is available there and working.
