Unable to update

Hi Stan,

I try to update to 2.0.318 from 2.0.312 but the updater can not write files.

This is the error:


Copy failed: /xxx/.../tmp/install_574234e63d8354bc0/site/ext/doublemail/basket.php/index.html to /xxx/.../components/com_onepage/ext/doublemail/basket.php/index.html
JInstaller: :Install: Fails copying file /xxx/.../tmp/install_57e63d8354bc0/site/ext/doublemail/basket.php/index.html to /xxx/.../components/com_onepage/ext/doublemail/basket.php/index.html

Update component: Copy site file error.



I try to update other version, but always the same problem.

Please, can you tell me how to solve this?

hello, you probably got into either PHP timeout or upload limit.

i suggest to update to version 319 which was releasd a few days ago where we had removed this directory from the OPC installer - it's no longer needed.

if the installation (due to the size or timeout) still fails, you can try to use web installer:

1. upload the zip file to your root
2. insert the OPC installer path: http://www.yoursite.com/onepage.2.0.319.zip (copy the exact name)

No url needed. Normal installation done
