to update opc:
IF YOU'D LIKE TO USE YOUR ORIGINAL OPC THEME:
1. if you are updating from a very old opc version and the opc display tab does not hae an option "backup theme before update" you may want to backup directory /components/com_onepage/themes/your OPC theme as selected at the display tab
2. a few months ago we updated opc's core javascripts and thus your original theme (if you'd like to use it) may require a javascript modifications - you can copy "tabcontent.js" file from the core opc theme
GENERAL OPC UPDATE PROCEDURE
3. since last few versions of OPC due to many checkout templates included we got above 2mb default upload limit - you can check if your server supports 2mb+ upload size at joomla's Site -> System information -> PHP Information -> upload_max_size (should be above the 2mb):
4. can can then download either a full opc version or the mini version that is missing a few of the themes
5. install with joomla installer without uninstalling the prior version
6. at the general tab, make sure that opc is enabled - we had updated installation process so that the plugin is not enabled by default
7. click save within the opc configuration

8 configure your display settings and see if the opc checkout renders properly as you'd like
9 do checkout tests as logged and unlogged and report us any issues

10 if you uploaded the mini version due to the size limit restrictions, you may want to upload rest of the themes from the full opc package from:
com_onepage.zip/site/themes/
to your
/components/com_onepage/themes/
