Showing words in the Username field of the login form

Hello Stan

I have a small problem with the OPC. I am using an older multi_PBV theme that had the center alignment of the address instead of your current one where everything is off to the left and looks bad.

However when people click the register button the the username has wording in it that shouldn't be there.

How do I change it. See screenshot.

Also how do you change it so the words are not written inside the field boxes. I know an even older version of the template does this however it handles taxes differently so I don't want to use it. I know very little about templating, is there a program to help design a new OPC template?
