Extra Fields in OPC

Hi,
I'm using OPC for VM2 with Joomla 2.5.8

I'd like to know if it's possible to add extra field request in the guest information part such as the gender and extra info for the shipment.
And if it's possible what will be the easiest way to do it ?

Hello, yes, this is possible to do with the shopper field management of virtuemart backend which have got updated since 2.0.16+ of VM version and now adding, deleting and ordering of the shopper fields should be fully working under a default VM installation.

To add an extra shpping information we'd recommend also to create it a shopper field, but disable rendering of it within OPC (custom rendering) and position it anywhere in the theme with a full html code. We'd have to check this further in case of any issues with this.
