vmpayment crash with OPC update

If I install the newest version of the OPC plugin it fixes a few other bugs but totally breaks my payment plugin. I get this in the error logs:

PHP Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in public_html/plugins/vmpayment/linkpoint/linkpoint.php on line 375

hello jason, i would like to fix this directly on your site, please write me an email. if the changes in the overrided vmplugin code caused this issue, it is very important for me to fix this. i've added a few caching mechanisms into plugin handling.
