Check failed ST has no name

Hi,

i have a problem with editing the shipping-adress.
If a logged user would enter a different shipping-adress, he gets the following Error:
Check failed ST has no name

I have installed the latest Version 2.0.87 OPC
Virtuemart is 2.0.8e

Any hints for me?

hello, we will investigate this. what is your status on
- Hide "Display name" field within OPC configuration
- you may try to make address_type_name or Address Nickname not required within VM backend

this seems more of a VM bug.

Thanks for the fast reply.

I tried with "Display name" on and off: no effect
I unchecked address_type_name : no effect

After that i tried to make that name and username are not required, because this is joomla base i couldn´t change anything.

That drives me totaly crazy.

Edit: When I set address_type_name is required it works fine. But it is not userfriendly if the customer have to name the second adress.

hello lars, i really can't replicate this on my demos. are you running a stable release of VM? if yes, i can check your site over ftp - please write me an email to support@rupostel.com. I don't provide support for beta releases of VM as they contain many bugs and are not meant for production use.
