Remove a User Field

I want to eliminate a user field from the registration and other areas. I cannot seem to find which file manages this.

Hello, i don't know now which user field you mean? For managing the fields shown at checkout, you can use: Virtuemart -> Configuration -> Shopper Fields -> click onto published column to unpublish it. If you'd like to change type of registration or to alter the system fields shown at the checkout, please use the "Registration" tab at the OPC backend configuration.
