Customer note is not added to order

Customer note is not added to order

The customer note is not added to the order using the one page checkout.
The field stays empty in the DB as well.

Can anybody help fix this?

Hello, today we tested the customer note on both inbuilt themes and both as logged and unlogged and the customer field was saved correctly on our vm2onj25 (vm 206 and j2.5). Please specify if you are running one the latest (within last month) OPC2 versions and what is your exact VM and Joomla version. Sometimes when customizing the theme by your self, if might have got xhtml invalid and does not send the customer note (name="customer_note" or name="customer_comment") to the POST handler (/components/com_onepage/controllers/opc.php function checkout() )
