Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /libraries/joomla/event/event.php on line 60
(this message MIGHT show instead of listing shipping methods on joomla 1.5 + virtuemart 2.0.x when the component installer was not able to fix it)

If anybody encounters this bug on VM 2.0.0 - 2.0.2 and Joomla 1.5.x it is caused by a bug within /components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.php file. OPC fixes this bug automatically during the installation, but in case it is not fixed, you may need to do it manually according to our recommendations here:
