Hi Stan

Can you tell me where we can set up this? I cant find the typical permission tab to choose what actions can user groups do and what they cant.

Regards

PD: Using version 2.0.276.121214

hello, it depends - what would be the ideal solution.

right now, opc itself does not check the access, it relies on "backend credentials". For features that require VM's vendor, they either do not get saved or give an error.

pls suggest a ideal credential access into opc sections:
- vm config + tracking (super admin access)
- opc utilities (general backend access)
- order management -> pls suggest, i am going to extend this section shortly

best regards, stan

Hi, sounds good, for us is a matter of secutiry mainly.

I think the basic thing at least would be to define access to OPC itselt per user groups.

In our case our workers are set as administrators, therefore they can access OPC, change config etc so ideally a setting where we can decide what user groups can access the menu from components or change configs etc would do.

Even better like other components directly hide the menu to the non desired user groups.

Yes order management again would be cool to allow or deny permissions there.
Maybe also to the language editor etc

But for us as mentioned is a security issue, we dont want our workers to access the OPC configuration since they can really mess things up there.
