Hello.
I use "RuposTel - OnePage Check" for two years.
I am a subscriber.
I have a need.
I need to save various carts.
Then I have to send to my customers the links to the saved carts.
I need to use the precompiled carts from me, I want to use them as dynamic quotes.
Does Rupostel produce a plugin to save the carts?
Do you have any advice to give me?
Thank you.
Best regards.

hello, next week we should get "cart load module" done where customers can reload their stored carts from within a module that lists their carts. we do such works as customizations per customer's needs and we normally charge from 25 eur / hour for this type of works and it usually costs from 200 to 500 eur to get this done. within OPC releases it should be available in up to 2 months from now.

there is already "cart reload plugin" in opc which was replaced with VM's cart reload funcionality. we are going to extend this plugin to get the module working and do what's needed.

if you got any ideas what should get implemented into this functionality, let me know at email and maybe you can share the developing costs with the other customer.

best regards, stan

Hi,

Did this ever get implemented? I noticed that mod_cart_save is in extensions but does it work? if so is there code I need to add to the vm templates?

Cheers
Martyn

NB: Ignore me just being dense... it's a module position

hello martyn, yes, it is a module where you can save named carts. this works mostly for logged in users.

just install the module + enable it at a position + possibly style it a bit with css if it doesn't look great on the first use, let us know any feedback on this. this module is intended for b2b webshops where enteprises purchase the same stuff over and over and they would prefer to load the stored named cart.

the plugin is already used on one live site which paid the development.

we do not suggest to use our (or else) "cart save plugin" that saves and loads cart automatically as there are way too many scenarios where this can fail, especially in combination with awo coupons.

best regards, stan
