Broken EU Mode?

Hi Stan,

We have the latest onepage1.2.289 installed (previous was 1.2.284). It seems that there is a problem with EU mode and javascript? When the customer selects a country during checkout tax should be added if his country is in EU. Now tax is added to some non-eu countries also and is removed for some EU countries! I think i found out what happens but i don't know why:

The tax setting shown every time is not the one of the currently selected country but the tax setting of the previous selected country!

E.g.:

Inital country: USA, Tax Setting: OFF, Tax Shown: NO (correct)
We select Greece, Tax Setting: ON, Tax Shown: NO (wrong!)
We select Mexico, Tax Setting: OFF, Tax Shown: Yes (wrong!)
We select Brazil, Tax Setting: OFF, Tax Shown: No (correct)

What could be the cause???
