Paypal Checkout Button

Hi,

I recently get the component, mainly we want allow our customer use the "Paypal Checkout button" I notice it can activate and it go to Paypal but when back to the site it redirect me to the old first step of checkout process, ignoring the OPC component, I see all the posts in the forum and I only found a post where don't recomend use the New API because is a new development, but it was on April 2011, now it is stable version and it works with the credit card payment but not the "Paypal checkout button"

Any light on this will be appreciate.

Additionally is normal that before to get the basket display a blank screen only with the title "Shopping Basket"?
