Hi Stan,
Our store is fully multilingual and multi-currency. So a customer from Japan for example, can make an order in Japanese language and pay in Japanese Yen. The problem here is the following:
- The order confirmation email is sent in English, both to the customer and to admin. The following should happen: the order confirmation email should go to the customer in Japanese and to the admin in English (unless the admin knows good Japanese!!!). Basically all the order confirmation emails to the admin should be in English and to the customers should be in the customer's language. This is based always on Joomfish functionality which is already there.
-When the customer pays in Japanese Yen, he gets the order confirmation in Japanese Yen, this is fine. However, our invoice (using OPC) must be always in Euro, as per legislation. The problem is that in the VM database, the Japanese Yen and relevant prices are inserted, so we have to go manually every time in the relevant vm order tabels and change the currency and values back to Euro, otherwise the invoice will be wrong. It would be great that the customer gets the email in his own currency for displaying purposes only, but in the database only the Euro prices are input.
We believe that for a true multilingual/multicurrency shop the above improvements are really important; looking forward to your comments.
Rgrds,
Chris
